Wow.

I’ve finally come across someone with a mental illness where they’re not depressed/sad (I’m going to be honest, this always made me feel weird on here) but instead have anxiety issues, sleeping issues and apathy because of it. Never have I ever met anyone else who had the same exact issue.
Uh, hi. Here’s another one :>

*raises hand*… though, I am depressed, but I think I don’t show it that much any more.

I have both, honestly. I’m more angry and anxious than just sad, but I do have my moments. I definitely find myself blowing everything off when it gets really bad. You’re not alone!

My ex boyfriend was like that, though he did have some depression.

Depression isn’t always just sad. Its very commonly complete apathy and often involves sleep issues and anxiety as symptoms. There are lots of common traits across mental illnesses, noones the same.
